Our Training Program on June 3rd and 4th, 2024

RUWES is happy  to announce a transformative training program for women, scheduled to take place on Monday, June 3rd, and Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the beautiful SCHATZ Gardens and Resorts, located on Shehu Shagari Way, adjacent to the Transcorp Hilton Hotel. This training is designed to equip women from various organizations with practical skills in sustainable practices that are vital for a greener future.

About The Training Program

Our program aims to empower women by providing hands-on training in key areas of sustainability. We believe that equipping women with these skills not only benefits the individuals but also has a far-reaching positive impact on their communities and the environment.

Training Topics

Participants will receive comprehensive training in the following areas:

  1. Briquette Production: Learn how to produce eco-friendly briquettes from agricultural waste, an excellent alternative to traditional charcoal and firewood.
  2. Biogas Digester Set-up: Gain insights into setting up a biogas digester, a sustainable solution for managing organic waste and producing biogas for energy.
  3. Production of Methane for Cooking and Lighting: Understand the process of methane production, a clean energy source that can be used for cooking and lighting.
  4. Clay Pot Water Dispenser and Water Filtration: Master the art of creating clay pot water dispensers and effective water filtration systems to ensure access to clean drinking water.
