RUWES/G-WIN Partnership

The RUWES initiative was incorporated into the Girl and Women Initiative in Nigeria (GWIN) Initiative to achieve the common objectives of gender empowerment, energy access, improved health and environmental protection. The G-WIN was launched by the Federal Ministry of Finance in response to empowering women and girls specifically. The G-WIN project aims to empower self-reliance and sufficiency, create employment as well as alleviate poverty through the provision of access to funds for girls and women. The G-WIN/RUWES Partnership will scale up the on-going RUWES empowerment activities in various States across the country.
